2018, August 30: House fire, Schooley Road at Searfoss Road

Mt Zion Rescue/Pumper, Tanker 1, and Special Operations responded to a working structure fire.  Also responding were Harding Engine and Rescue, Harding Mt Zion Ambulance, Exeter Engine, Franklin Tanker, Lake Winola Engine and Tanker, Jackson Tanker, Newton-Ransom Tanker, Trucksville Tanker, West Pittston Ladder and Squad, and West Wyoming Squad.  Unfortunately, the home was a total loss.

2018, July 21: Mt Zion Tanker 1 at Pittston Township structure fire

Early Saturday morning, Mt Zion Tanker 1 and manpower were requested to assist Pittston Township with a working structure fire on Chapel Road.  This area of Pittston Township has no hydrants.  Mt Zion Fire is always ready and happy to assist our neighboring communities.

2018, July 7: Exeter Borough Rubbish Fire, July 7, 2018

Mt Zion Brush Tanker (aka Tanker 2) was requested to assist Exeter Borough Fire with a rubbish fire off railroad tracks with limited access.

2018, April 16: Pecks Road tree down pulls down power lines

During the night, a dead pine tree fell, pulling down power lines and snapping a utility pole.  No one was injured.

2018, May 13: Seven Tubs Recreation Area Search in Plains Township

Mt Zion Special Operations, Brush Truck 1, UTV and ATV responded to assist PA DCNR Forestry with a search for a missing elderly man.  Personnel searched the woods in this area.  The man was eventually found safe elsewhere.

2018, May 18: House Fire on Mt Zion Road

Mt Zion Rescue/Pumper and Special Operations responded along with Harding Fire, Franklin Fire, Lake Winola Fire, West Pittston Fire, West Wyoming Fire and Wyoming Fire for a fire inside of the home.  A hose-line was stretched into the home to contain and extinguish the fire.  The dryer, which had caused the fire, was removed from the home.
