2024, December 3: Motor Vehicle Crash

Mt Zion Rescue/Pumper responded for a MVC on Sutton Creek Road, car vs utility pole.

2024, November 9: Motor Vehicle Crash

Mt Zion Rescue/Pumper along along with Harding Fire Company, Harding Mt Zion Ambulance, and Wyoming Area Regional Police responded for a MVC, car into the swamp.

2024, October 28-29: Wildland Fire involving a structure on Mill Hill Road

Mt Zion Brush Truck 1 responded along with Harding Fire, Hughestown Fire, Lake Winola Fire, Maltby Fire, Tunkhannock Fire, Northmoreland Fire, West Pittston Fire, West Wyoming Fire, and DCNR Forestry for a wildland fire involving a structure.  Mt Zion Tanker, Malby Fire, and DCNR Forestry returned on October 29 to wet down hot spots to prevent it from spreading outside the perimeter.

2024, June 23: Motor Vehicle Crash Rt 92 at Sutton Creek Road

Mt Zion Rescue/Pumper responded along with Harding Rescue and Utility, Harding Mt Zion Ambulance, Medic 29, Lake Winola Ambulance, and Wyoming Area Regional Police for a MVC on Rt 92 at Sutton Creek Road.  The vehicle you see over the guiderail was a parked car that was pushed over the guiderail down the bank of Sutton Creek.  It was not the one that was travelling.

2024, MARCH 22: EXETER MOUNTAIN BRUSH FIRE: ASSIST TO EXETER FIRE

On Thursday, March 22, Mt Zion Brush Truck, Special Operations, and UTV responded for a brush fire on Exeter Mountain.  Although the fire was relatively small, the terrain was difficult to traverse.  UTVs from Mt Zion, Pittston Township Fire, Pittston City Fire along with Wildland firefighters from Hughestown Fire, and Exeter Fire, along with DCNR Forestry, ascended the mountain and extinguished the fire.
