2023, APRIL 30: RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE FIRE ASSIST TO TRUCKSVILLE FIRE

Early Sunday morning, Mt Zion Tanker responded to assist Trucksville fire with a house fire.  It is believed that the fire was started by lightning during a storm that went through the area.  Other fire units were Dallas Fire, Edwardsvill Fire, Hughstown Fire, Jackson Township Fire, Kingston Fire, Medic 10 (Transmed), Medic 33 (Kunkle), Northmoreland Fire, Shavertown Fire, and Trucksville Fire. 

2023, April 9: Residential Structure Fire assist to Trucksville Fire

Early Easter morning, Mt Zion Tanker responded to assist Trucksville Fire with a house fire on Eighth Street Road.  

2023, APril 8: Residential Structure Fire assist to Trucksville Fire

In the evening, Mt Zion Tanker 1 responded to assist Trucksville Fire with a working house fire.  Other units on scene were Jackson Fire, Kingston Fire, Medic 30 (Dallas), Shavertown Fire, and Trucksville Fire. 

2023, APril 7: Residential Structure Fire assist to Northmoreland Fire

Before sunrise this morning, Mt Zion Tanker 1 responded to assist Northmoreland Fire with a house fire on Bodle Road in Franklin Township.  Other units on scene were  Back Mountain Regional Fire, Harding Fire, Jackson Township Fire, Kingston Fire, Kunkle Fire, Medic 33 (Kunkle), Meshoppen Fire, ​Northmoreland Fire, Shavertown Fire, Trucksville Fire, and West Wyoming Fire,.

2023, March 21: Wildland Fire off Hoffman Road

In the early evening, Mt Zion Tanker 1 and Brush Truck 1 responded along with Harding Fire for a wildland fire off Hoffman Road.  Approximately 500 gallons of water were used to extinguish the fire.

2023, March 14: Tree down on power lines on Lockville Road

Later in the evening, the power went out in upper Harding.  Wyoming Area Regional Police Officer Neff located the cause.  A tree had come down on power lines on Lockville Road, leaving the power lines on the roadway.  Mt Zion Special Operations and Fire Police responded to shut down Lockville Road at Rt 92 and at Crest Street.  The pole number had given to Luzerne County by Officer Neff.  Also responding to this call was Harding Fire.
